CSA SOCCERFEST RULES
NO Referees—Each head coach will serve as a referee on their team's assigned games or the head coach can designate an assistant, or someone responsible from their team to serve in their place. Each playing team will designate a team staff member or parent to help in calling in-and-out of bounds on their sideline. Remember, this is for FUN-- if they miss some calls, that's ok. We're NOT keeping score, and there is no "first place" or "last place".
Check in. The teams will need to be checked in by staff 30 min before the team’s first game. Players will be check for proper equipment. Coaches should just bring the roster received from their club/league. The roster will be used to check in players. Players must be on the roster unless you are barrowing players from a participating team. No guest players are allowed. However, if a team is short, it's ok to borrow a player from one of the participating teams.
Game lengths - all U10-U12 will play: 10 min halves, 3 min break and swap sides.
All teams will be given a minimum of 30 minutes between games. Some will have a longer break. It will depend on the number of teams.
Game rules - Normal U10-U12 soccer rules.
Medals - each team will receive a packet of medals for all players. The pins/medals will be given to coaches at check in.
Weather - If it rains, and the city closes the parks we will not play and no rainout makeups. There are no refunds.
Finally, please remember the CSA Soccerfest is for the kids and we want the kids to have fun and enjoy one more day with their team, without the pressure of winning or losing. It’s about having fun! Please don't yell, get angry, or let anyone else spoil the fun.
