Birth Year/Age Matrix
2025-2026 Season Year
The Natomas Youth Soccer league follows the US Soccer Federation and FIFA mandate that uses the calendar year to determine age groups (not school year calendar). The following age groups run through January 1 through December 31.
Each age group consists of two birth years and you can read the Birth Year/Age matrix chart to determine which age group your child should register in.
The age group is based on your players birth year within the playing season of July 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026. Players may not play down because of their age or size.
The "U" stands for under, i.e U8 is under 8 years old.
